MAPS Annual Meeting - Saturday, June 27, 2026 • 10 AM - Noon at The Breakers.
NEW -- Second set of water testing results for Mullett Lake (June 2). Great news--all sites are below the EGLE CFU "safe" limit of 300 CFU, and all Mullett Lake sites are down from the first test. The Landings site shows an increase, but remains well below the EGLE limit.
This is the second expanded test since the spring flooding, made possible by MAPS' support for DHD4's Bathing Beach Monitoring Program. More data, better picture. Thank you to District Health Department 4.

MAPS is supporting DHD4 (District Health Department No. 4) on expanded water testing across Mullett Lake and the Indian River—testing for E. coli bacteria levels in the wake of this spring's flooding.
MAPS funding adds five additional representative sites around Mullett, giving us a better picture of where things stand.
Results are expected June 2. We'll post them as soon as we have them.

Cheboygan County is seeking public input for updates to The Master Plan and The Joint Recreation Plan.
The broader survey provides the opportunity for citizens to guide planning for development of Cheboygan County for the next 10-years, including opinions on land use and data centers. The second survey has a narrower scope, focusing on the next five years of planning for recreation.
